Last December school holiday, we visited Port Dickson for the 3rd time and decided to stay at Avillion Port Dickson, and it turned out to be a more desirable choice! Avillion Port Dickson was constructed with the structures of an Ancient Malay fishing village in mind, mixing both conventional cultures with stylish luxuries.
There are few types of accomodation. We stayed at the Avillion Port Dickson's Water Chalet, whereas our friend who traveled with our family chose the Garden Chalet. There is not much difference with the interior design of the rooms, as both come with a Pangkin daybed and a 4-poster bed. The water chalets overlook the Straits of Malacca, however I find that the walk from the hotel main surroundings to the rooms is quite far away (it takes about 15 minutes). We preferred the Garden Chalet as it is more family-friendly and is within closer to the pool. In terms of rates, although Garden Chalet slightly bigger than the the Water Chalet, it is surprisingly slightly cheaper even though it is larger than the Water Chalet.
